The 30th Anniversary of the Kupper Chevrolet Dakota Classic Modified Tour will include many tweaks to the format, at the request of the racers. Passing Points have been implemented, provisional’s will no longer be used, and a new Last Chance Qualifier for the Modifieds has been added to each tour night.
IMCA.TV, the Official Broadcast partner of the Dakota Classic Modified Tour since 2013, is putting up $1000 per night at each track to give racers another shot to make the big feature, and if they don’t make it, take a couple bucks home.
The Winner of the IMCA.TV Last Chance Qualifier will have the option to tag the Modified Feature or walk away with the $300 won in the LCQ.
“The IMCA.TV LCQ will give the modified racers another chance to make the incredible big feature races” added IMCA.TV Executive Producer Bucky Doren. “The fans get another star-studded race and the racers walk home with more cash for their efforts.”
The complete payout and format will be added to the Dakota Classic Modified Tour website at: www.dakotamodtour.com
